Pilot Activity/Compliance Officer
Pilot Activity/Compliance Officer – What You’ll Be Doing

Monitor pilot activity to ensure adherence to VA rules, flight schedules, and operational standards.

Track pilot hours, rank progression, and type rating completions.

Identify and report any violations or discrepancies in pilot records.

Assist pilots with questions about VA procedures, requirements, or compliance issues.

Work with staff and management to maintain a fair, organized, and professional virtual airline environment.

Provide guidance and support to help pilots meet VA standards while fostering a positive community.
Check Airman / Examiner

Check Airman / Examiner – What You’ll Be Doing

Conduct pilot evaluations and check rides to ensure adherence to VA procedures and standards.

Assess pilot proficiency in aircraft handling, navigation, and operational procedures.

Approve or provide feedback on pilot type ratings and rank progression.

Maintain accurate records of pilot checks, scores, and certifications.

Mentor pilots to improve skills and ensure safe, professional virtual operations.

Collaborate with the Training Manager to maintain high training and operational standards across the airline.

Instructor Pilot – What You’ll Be Doing

Provide flight training to new and existing pilots on VA procedures and aircraft operations.

Guide pilots through type rating courses, checklists, and best practices.

Monitor pilot progress and give constructive feedback to help them improve skills.

Assist with onboarding and orientation for new pilots joining Orbit VA.

Collaborate with the Training Manager and Check Airmen to ensure training standards are maintained.

Support a safe, professional, and engaging learning environment for all pilots.
Community Director
Community Director – What You’ll Be Doing

Foster a positive, welcoming, and engaged community for all pilots and staff.

Oversee communication channels, including Discord, forums, and social media.

Plan and coordinate community events, challenges, and interactive activities.

Act as the main point of contact for community feedback, concerns, and suggestions.

Collaborate with PR, Events, and Staff teams to maintain high engagement and satisfaction.
-
Ensure the Orbit VA community reflects professionalism, inclusivity, and fun.
